Lake Sam Rayburn & Toledo Bend

Sam Rayburn Reservoir is on the Angelina River; its dam is in Jasper County, about 15 miles north of Jasper. 114,500 acres, maximum depth 80 feet, impounded in 1965 (Texas Parks and Wildlife).

Lake Fork

Lake Fork Reservoir is on the Sabine River in Hopkins, Rains and Wood counties, five miles northwest of Quitman. 27,264 acres, maximum depth 70 feet, impounded in 1980 (Texas Parks and Wildlife).

Lake Tawakoni

Lake Tawakoni lies in Van Zandt, Rains and Hunt counties, 15 miles southeast of Greenville, on Caddo Creek and the South Fork and Cowleech Fork of the Sabine River. 37,879 acres, maximum depth 70 feet, impounded in 1960 (Texas Parks and Wildlife).

Possum Kingdom Lake

Possum Kingdom Lake is on the Brazos River in Palo Pinto and Young counties, 75 miles west of Fort Worth off Texas Highway 16. 15,588 acres, maximum depth 145 feet, impounded in 1941 (Texas Parks and Wildlife).

Lake Livingston

TowBoatUS Lake Livingston is the H2O Boat Tow port on this lake, with a site of its own.

The company serves an area reaching about 120 miles by road from any of its ports.

Sabine Lake

TowBoatUS Sabine Lake, at Orange, has been an H2O Boat Tow port since September 2026.

Licensed captains and purpose-built towboats answer there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Lake Ray Hubbard

Lake Ray Hubbard lies in Collin, Dallas, Rockwall and Kaufman counties, one mile west of Rockwall on the East Fork of the Trinity River. 21,671 acres, maximum depth 40 feet, impounded in 1968 (Texas Parks and Wildlife).

Lake Lavon

Lake Lavon lies in Collin County northeast of Dallas, four miles northeast of Wylie off Texas Highway 78. 21,400 acres, maximum depth 59 feet, impounded in 1953 and doubled in size in 1974 (Texas Parks and Wildlife).
